How to use the option?
But how do you switch it on or off? To do that you need to click on the three dots right next to your profile in the extreme right corner of Chrome. Now go to Settings, and you will find a new screen. Go ahead and auto fills on the left side. Here you can see the password appearing at the top. If you want to save the password, keep the option on, otherwise off.
If you look at the bottom of the screen, all the passwords you have saved will appear. You can remove unnecessary passwords that you don’t need anymore.
Google Chrome is just not only meant for managing passwords. In the auto fill section within the settings, you can find the option of Check Password. Once you click this, your Google Chrome will suggest which password is weak or if your account is at risk or not. In case you wish to change the password, Google Chrome can also suggest a strong password.
Google Chrome’s address bar is not only used for searches, but also for playing media player to play a video or an audio file.
How to use the address bar for playing videos and audios?
Open Chrome app and drag any video or audio file to the address bar. Now your file is ready to be played. You can also find buttons for play, pause and volume control. You can also create picture in picture through improvisation by tapping on the bottom right side of the media player.
It is also used as an image viewer
Besides being used as a media player, Google Chrome also acts as an image viewer. You can paste any image on the address bar and within a fraction of a second, your photo will appear on Chrome. This feature is especially useful when you are not able to open a formatted image on your system. Google Chrome supports almost all formats.
Shortcuts for opening favorite pages
Normally, there are many important pages that you need to open frequently, such as Facebook or YouTube or a webpage. Chrome allows you to create a shortcut for these pages on the desktop. So, once you click on these shortcuts, the webpage will open in Chrome. At first, just type the name of the particular page or the website in the address bar and move to More Tools by clicking on the three dots on the right side. Here you will get the option to Create Shortcuts.
